SCOPE NOTE
- An office that appears in ancient Athens. The Anagrapheas belonged to the group of anagrapheis who, with the establishment of the democratic regime in Athens (marked by the fall of the Four Hundred in 411 BC), were responsible for the collection and publication of the Athenian laws, and for the republication of the laws of Draco and the laws of Solon that were still in force.
