SCOPE NOTE
- Groups within a specific population, which are made of individuals who belong to the same (or approximately the same) biological age and/or undergo collectively the same socialization and coming-of-age experiences. Age groups are regarded either as distinct collectivities within a population or as methodological tools for social research.
