SCOPE NOTE
- Roman silver didrachms of the Republican period, with an obverse type of a youthful, Janiform head and a reverse showing Jupiter in a quadriga driven by Victory. They were introduced after the First Punic War (264-241 BCE) and after several reductions in their purity, they were replaced in 211 BCE by the denarius.
