SCOPE NOTE
- Political office, whose holders are heads of the executive in nation-states under a political regime of parliamentary republic or constitutional monarchy. In semi-presidential republics, like France and Russia, the Prime Minister is appointed by the President, while in presidential republics, as the USA, the office does not exist. Prime Ministers are members of the parliament and heads of the political partry that is able to form a government. They appoint the cabinet of ministers that implements the government's policies.
