SCOPE NOTE
- Argentiferous copper-alloy Roman coins that were first introduced in 294 CE with the monetary reform of Diocletian and weighed 1/32 of a libra. After 307 CE their weight suffered gradual reductions until 348 CE when they were replaced by maiorina.
