SCOPE NOTE
- Structural elements of a typical Attika decree. They consist of the invocation of the gods, frequently inscribed with widely spaced letters at the top of the steale. The formula ἀγαθῆι τύχηι ("by good fortune") is common in the Roman imperial period. The headings may contain the decision or the name of the secretary or archon e.g. Μεθοναίον ἐκ Πιερίας ("for the Methonians of Pieria")
