SCOPE NOTE
- The standardised weight systems according to which coin denominations were produced in various areas of the ancient Greek world. During the Archaic and the Classical period the main monetary standards of the Greek world were the Aeginetan, the Corinthian and the Euboeic, from which the Attic system derived.
