Inscriptions bearing official correspondence. Letters were the main means of communication of Hellenistic rulers, as well as Roman officials and Emperors with cities, Koina (leagues) or Confederations of cities, subjects, small settlements, collective entities, such as youth and elders' clubs, athletic clubs and other rulers.
