ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- Type of lottery that appeared in the 5th century BC. in Athens. This system combined election and lottery. For example, it was used for the election of the nine archons; candidates for the offices of the archons were elected from each tribe (ten first, one hundred later), and among them, a lottery was held to determine who would assume the office.
