ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- Big sailing ships that sailed in the Mediterranean during the early modern and modern period. Lateen-rigged ships had initially two and after the mid-18th century three masts with triangular sails, called lateens, which gave this type of ship its name.
