- Dramatic genre drawing on everyday situations of ordinary people, on the social/political reality and having a happy ending (marriage, reconciliation, recognition etc.). Among the main functions of comedy are the mockery of the deviant behavior of the comic character and the temporary reversal of the natural laws and the established order, which are restored in the end. It uses the sudden brainwave, the changes in pace, chance and inventiveness in dramaturgy and staging.
