ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- A type of irregular taxation that was imposed in proportion to the property of the citizens in various cities of ancient Greece. Particularly, in Athens this tax was paid by Athenian citizens and metics, according the decision of the Assembly in times of war.
