ΠΛΑΤΥΤΕΡΟΙ ΟΡΟΙ
ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- Inscriptions comprising catalogues with the names of persons who held the office of proxenos in ancient Greece. These lists are recorded in the proxenia decrees. The decrees usually assigned the office to a citizen and prescribed that the new name be recorded in the catalogue of proxenia. Usually the names were registered by cities according to the origin of each proxenos.
