ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- An honor awarded with honorary decrees to Athenian citizens and foreigners in ancient Athens. A moral reward, that was the main honor by which the Athenian people recompensed a citizen for his actions. It was normally accompanied by the award of a wreath.
