ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- Coins made by pouring melted metal into molds with the embossed image of the desired coins. During antiquity coins were usually cast when they were too large to be struck. Some forgers also used casting as the easiest way to copy official coins.
