ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- Theatrical genre born in France. Originally, the term denoted a show composed of songs, acrobatics, and monologues. In the nineteenth century, vaudeville became, with playwrights as Scribe, and then Labiche and Feydeau, a light comedy of intrigue without songs, rich in intricacies (usually erotic) that arise from chance encounters and misunderstandings, coincidences, and surprises.
