ΔΙΕΥΚΡΙΝΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ
- Secondary figure of ancient Greek tragedy, usually anonymous. The basic function of the Messenger in the drama is to report off-stage action or events that occurred inside the palace which he has eye-witnessed to other characters on stage and the spectators.
